Information we collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, username, and authentication records. When you use the product, we may store saved cities, visits, discoveries, comments, likes, and images you choose to upload.
We also receive limited technical information needed for security and reliability, such as device, browser, IP address, and request logs.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate you, synchronize your personal atlas, operate community features, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal information.
Services that process data
Supabase provides authentication and database services. Resend delivers account emails. Cloudflare provides domain and network services. Map views may use OpenStreetMap or Google Maps, which receive the technical requests required to display map content.
Public information
Your display name, username, public discoveries, comments, and leaderboard activity may be visible to other people. Saved cities remain private to your account. We will provide privacy controls before public community publishing is enabled.
Retention and security
We retain account data while your account is active and for a limited period when needed for security, legal compliance, or dispute resolution. Access controls and database row-level security are used to separate account data.
Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal information. You may also object to or restrict certain processing where applicable. Contact [email protected].
International use and children
The service is intended for a global audience and information may be processed in countries other than your own. The service is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum digital-consent age required in their country.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product develops. Material changes will be announced through the service or by email when appropriate.
